This is the larger version of our popular Queen Catherine’s roombox - based on rooms at Leeds castle, England. The footprint is 24 inches by 15 inches and the walls are 10 inches high.

Note the wooden panelling so typical of the period as are the corner fireplaces with conical chimney breasts above.

The roombox has a wood panelled ante-chamber which would be perfect for a bathroom or a small study. There is a small corner fireplace in the ante-chamber.

There is a backlit window alcove through which a cloud studded sky can be seen.

Can’t you just see a lady sitting in the alcove busily working on a tapestry? Or an irish wolfhound warming itself by the fire?

This is such a versatile room - it lends itself to so many different scenes, from bedrooms to libraries to feasts!
