TUDOR MANOR HOUSE

The new-fangled ultra modern desirable residence, at least it was 400 years ago! This is what the rising middle classes were building for themselves in the 1600’s.

This was a terrific project that not only had lots of little nooks and crannies but was constructed in modules for ease of transport home after the class.

It has lots of authentic architectural features including a super hammer beam ceiling in the Great Hall , a minstrel’s gallery and some great fireplaces. There are three attic rooms, a Great Hall and 2 further rooms in each wing - one on the ground floor and one the first floor. The right hand side ground floor room is a kitchen with a large open fireplace. The two rooms on the first floor are reached via a staircase from the Great Hall and a minstrels gallery. There is a staircase in the first floor right hand side room giving access to the attic rooms.

The interior is accessed via removable front, side and roof panels.
